May 25 - 27 will find Lambton College hosting the ETC conference. Located in beautiful Sarnia - Lambton on the shores of Lake Huron and the banks of the St. Clair River, Lambton College was one of Ontario’s first publicly funded colleges and it officially opened in 1966. The college was originally founded on its technology programs, but today it offers a wide variety of programs in Health Sciences, Community Services, Public Safety, Fire Science, Business, Liberal Studies and Technology.
The main college campus is located in Sarnia, Ontario and includes about 3,200 full-time students and 5,000 part-time. In addition to its main campus, the college also has a fire college located about 20 minutes away from the main campus and international campuses in China, India and Saudi Arabia.
We are happy to be the hosts of the ETC conference for 2011 and have many exciting events planned including two dynamic and interesting speakers; Michael Wesch, assistant professor at Kansas State University who will speak on building new learning environments for new media environments as well as Ken Steele, senior VP for Academia Group Inc. His keynote is to be announced.
