Things to do, places to see!

City of Sarnia
A safe and friendly border city, Sarnia is located where Lake Huron and the St. Clair River meet.  Sporting events, live theatre, marinas, casinos, horse racing, rock concerts – Sarnia has it all!

Canatara Park
Located on the shores of Lake Huron, this 85-acre park contains sandy beaches, walking trails, picnic facilities and the Children’s Animal Farm.

Centennial Park
This river-front park is next to the Sarnia Bay Marina and Duc D’Orleans cruise boat.  Festivals and events are held outdoors year-round, including Snowfest, Ribfest and Bayfest.

Petrolia and Oil Springs
Visit the birthplace of the Canadian oil industry just 10 miles east of Sarnia.  The Petrolia Discovery uses 19th century technology and still pumps crude oil year-round.  The Oil Museum of Canada shows you where and how it all started.

Grand Bend
This small town is on the shores of Lake Huron and has one of the “Top Ten Best Sunsets” in the world, according to National Geographic.  Grand Bend is the place to be for sun, sand and surf all summer long.

Sarnia Lambton - a great place to visit!

We here at Lambton College are so excited to be hosting the ETC conference this year in our beautiful city of Sarnia, Ontario. Although we have many fantastic events planned, you may wish to do a little sightseeing while you are here. Book some extra days to see our lovely city and surrounding area!
